Grant by Thomas Lucas of Little Saxham (Suff.),esquire, to John Griffyth, clerk, for the sum of £3.13.4 of 2 acres of land in Fornham St. Martin (Suff.) on the north side of the rectory of Fornham aforesaid, between the lands of Henry Hornyngold (formerly Wyldwote) on the south, and the land of the recently dissoved monastery of St. Edmund de Burg, now in the tenure of Thomas Baker, to the north, and abutting to the west on the land of the aforesaid Thomas Baker and to the east on the King's Highway leading from Fornham aforsaid to Brandon Ferry; with appointment of Thomas Andrewe of Burg St. Edmunds and John Boldyro of Fornham St. Martin his attorneys to deliver seisin. Given on the 18th Oct., 2 Edward VI.
